The ability for a community or sector to be aware of the phenomena and trends in progress and to be able to guide change towards positive and sustainable developments, passing from its capacity for vision and design. For these reasons PACO conducted a food hackathon, which took place in the city of Ferrara in Italy during the festival of the Internazionale newspaper, promoted by Alce Nero, Amnesty International and Future Food Institute. PACO facilitated the fusion of design, education and know-how to find solutions concerning land, people, food and their rights.

Many ideas were generated and discussed, and various projects and prototypes realized, including:
